Clean and dry before packing
Remove debris and residues with the approved cleaning method. Allow both surfaces and seams to dry before stacking or packing, especially after damp cleaning. Separate damaged or stained pieces for inspection instead of hiding them inside a stored set.
Support the tiles without concentrated loads
For interlocking tiles, ask whether flat storage is recommended and how high sets can be stacked. Use a level support and avoid sharp objects or heavy items pressing onto the edges. Do not roll a rigid or laminated model unless the product instructions permit it.
Choose a suitable environment
Protect packed tiles from direct sunlight, moisture and heat sources. Confirm any storage temperature or ventilation limits with the supplier for the actual model. Avoid assuming that all foam, print and textile constructions share one temperature limit.
Check before reinstalling
Inspect flatness, joins, surface condition and dryness. Reassemble a small area and confirm that the tiles fit as expected. Keep replacement tiles identified by model, thickness and joint profile; products from different batches or designs may not be interchangeable.
