Compare format and construction
Record whether the product is an interlocking tile, folding mat or another format. Ask about layers, printed or textile finishes, joints and nominal dimensions. Similar thicknesses do not ensure equivalent feel, wear or packing characteristics.
Evaluate representative samples
Check the assembled size, surface appearance, edge fit and the intended movement. Ask for the material specification and any relevant finished-product performance evidence. Newin Best confirms its EVA foam at 70 kg/m³ and Shore C 34–36; XPE specifications must be supplied for the product being compared.
Match documents to the intended user
For a children’s product, define age suitability, removable parts and labeling before selecting the test plan. For other uses, confirm the environment, loads and care requirements. Reports should describe the actual finished model rather than a generic material family.
Compare packing and replacement options
Review set quantities, carton volume, freight and available accessories. Confirm whether replacement tiles or parts can be supplied with a matching shape and finish. Evaluate the quotation as a complete product offer, not simply price per piece.
